Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Peachtree City is hosting an event called “Mighty To Save 2009” which began Monday and will continue through Saturday, March 14.

Nearly 2,000 are expected to attend “100 Hours of Adoration,” featuring Holy Hours, and special times for married couples, children, youth and families. The event is open to everyone.

Pope John Paul II says that adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is an important daily practice but, In some places the practice has been almost completely abandoned ... “How can we not express profound grief at all this? The Eucharist is too great a gift to tolerate ambiguity and depreciation,” he said.
