A Bible study project, “The Healing Ministry of Jesus Christ,” required for full membership admission into the International Order of St. Luke the Physician (OSL), will be offered at Christ the King Charismatic Episcopal Church beginning Wednesday, Feb. 11 at 7 p.m. in the Family Life Center.

The class will be taught by Edwina Cowgill of Newnan, a commissioned minister, and by James Taylor, Peachtree City, who is a hospital and law enforcement chaplain and a licensed liturgical minister. Both are OSL members.

The cost of materials is $45, which also includes associate membership in OSL and a yearly subscription to Sharing, OSL’s monthly publication.

So that sufficient materials can be ordered, interested persons must register and include payment of $45 (checks made payable to Christ the King), by Sunday, Feb. 1.

The International Order of St. Luke the Physician (OSL) is an ecumenical organization dedicated to the Christian healing ministry. Members meet together in local chapters to study Scripture, especially the biblical stories of the healing miracles, as well as other books on Christian healing. Members also engage in healing prayer, often with the laying-on of hands.

Those who have questions about OSL or the study are asked to contact Edwina Cowgill at 770-304-2231 or Edwina@redemptionfellowship.org. The church is at 4881 Ga. Hwy. 34 East, Sharpsburg.
