St. Christopher’s Hellenic Orthodox Church Philoptochos Society will hold its annual Greek Appetizers and Baklava sale just in time for holiday entertaining. The society is offering Spanakopita (a filo pastry filled with spinach, feta and onions) and Tiropita (a filo pastry filled with cheeses and herbs) for $10 per dozen and Baklava (a filo and nut filled sweet pastry) for $18 per dozen.

The pitas are already prepared and frozen. All that is necessary is to pop them in the oven for a short time.

Order deadline is Oct. 29 and pickup dates are Nov. 14 from 3 - 6 p.m. and Nov. 15 from 9 a.m. – noon at St. Christopher Hellenic Orthodox Church, 313 Dividend Dr., Peachtree City.

All proceeds from this fundraiser will be used for the charities that Philoptochos supports, such as Fayette County DFACS, Fayette Samaritans, and St. John the Wonderworker Loaves and Fishes program in Atlanta, International Orthodox Christian Charities, St. Basils Academy in Garrison N.Y. and the Children’s Medical Fund.
