Voter Fraud Chaos

Voter-Fraud Chaos, by Ken Blackwell

"Sen. Barack Obama's record of working with ACORN dates back to before he ever ran for office, and continues today. His campaign has channeled more than $800,000 into ACORN's political-action arm for election activities. This relationship alone deserves far more scrutiny than it has gotten so far.

With ACORN and similar groups flooding swing states like Ohio with teams of operatives, there is a possibility for voter fraud on a scale never before seen in this country. (ACORN alone has perhaps 100,000 members in 50 US cities.)"

Ah, the irony of being lectured on voter fraud by Ken Blackwell, the man who artfully re-engineered Ohio's electronic voting machines in 2004 to deliver Ohio to the Decider!

Speaking of voter fraud, Republicans are working diligently around the clock to purge voting rolls. Didja hear what happened in Montana last week?

The Republicans there purchased a national "change of address" registry from a commercial outfit and summarily challenged any Montana residents on the list. (the change of address registry is mainly for magazine subscriptions when people move).

One problem: any active duty serviceman who had montana as their home of record AND who had a "permanent change of duty station" (PCS) last year had their voting registration cancelled by the Republicans!

6000 servicemen will now not be able to vote in the upcoming election! (The Republican lt. governor, to his credit, is working to restore their rights).

Also, the Republicans challenged and de-registered Montana's only living WWII Congressional Medal of Honor recipient's voting eligibility. The guy moved into a nursing home within his same voting precinct. Not good enough for those Republicans, the vast majority I'd say had never heard a shot fired in anger.

Maybe USArmyBrat can tell us why Republicans hate the military?

Nevada state authorities seized records and computers Tuesday from the Las Vegas office of an organization that tries to get low-income people registered to vote, after fielding complaints of voter fraud.

Bob Walsh, spokesman for the Nevada secretary of state's office, told FOXNews.com the raid was prompted by ongoing complaints about "erroneous" registration information being submitted by the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, also called ACORN.

The group was submitting the information through a voter sign-up drive known as Project Vote.

"Some of them used nonexistent names, some of them used false addresses and some of them were duplicates of previously filed applications," Walsh said, describing the complaints, which largely came from the registrar in Clark County, Nev.

Secretary of State Ross Miller said the fraudulent registrations included forms for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys football team.

"Tony Romo is not registered to vote in the state of Nevada, and anybody trying to pose as Terrell Owens won't be able to cast a ballot on Nov. 4," Miller said.

Darn, I couldn't find this one on CNN either.....but they did have stories on the Sexiest Woman Alive and Who's Leaving "The View".

And certainly Obama was one and he is corrupt and all that.

And of course ACORN is corrupt and dishonest and everyone knows that.

My question is - why do these people want power so desperately?

Are they going to really "change" something? If so what???

Let's get the answer to that question out to the voters before next month.

Yes, I think I know why they want power!
By ignoring Wall Street and it's minions for eight years, the current administration has managed to allow those in power and those with gad-zillions of money in oil to accumulate even more power!

Now hardly anyone "owns" their home except them! They mostly owe more than they can get in ten years for their home---easy loans you know by the minions!

Therefore those with more money than they owe are worth much more than all those on unemployment and in reduced pay jobs! The feeling is good, I think.

That is the change they want to keep making. Lords and Surfs.
Surfs are dumb and wasteful.

Of course in addition to ACORN and those who think like they do are corrupt--yes everyone except them knows that!
Those wallstreeters who run hedges, derivatives, banks, and loan companies, and their local minions, are all we have going for us!

"These people" as you indicate are desperately trying to get a "piece of the pie!"

Don't let them!

Why? To throw out the Republican bums, that's why. Duhh!

Power to the people.

Didja hear what happened in Dekalb and Clarke counties this past week??

About two dozen inmates of the Clarke County Jail in Athens signed up in the jail's first voter registration drive this week as part of the Southern Christian Leadership Conference's "Democracy Behind Bars."

In DeKalb County in suburban Atlanta, the sheriff's office helped 376 inmates request absentee ballots and registered an additional 441 for the election, Sheriff Thomas Brown said Friday.

Democracy Behind Bars is a national effort to register eligible voters who are in prison. The Atlanta-based SCLC also signed up voters at the Fulton County Jail for the 2006 elections."

Augusta Chronicle

And then in Ohio last week, ACORN had a free-taxi program to find homeless people and register them to vote. Seems a loophole allows registration and same-day voting with no proof of address for early voters. Hmmmm, that sounds a little fishy.....

A homeless thug now registered to vote comments: “They picked me up. They seen me walkin’ around. So day said, ‘You wanna vote?’ I said, ‘Yeah, I’ll vote.’ (laughs) Day said, ‘We’ll take you anywhere you want.’ I said, ‘Dat’s cool’…If day say ’sign the ballot,’ just give ‘em and do exactly what they want you to do.’ I mean, hey, dis is America, you know?” (laughs).

Who does this new voter support?

“Barack! I mean, I want him to do his thang. You know, do his thug thizzle. You know. That’s how I like it to be. You know. (laughs).”

Michelle Malkin

I was going to link to the CNN story instead on this, but I couldn't find it. Now, that's odd....

Incarcerated and homeless people....I gotta admit you guys know your demographics and which way they might vote. Without a doubt everybody is entitled to vote legally, but that is a ground game that is pretty creative.

"Thug thizzle"????????????????? God help us.....
