Sarah Palin and Alaskan Big Oil!

I continue to see Sarah Palin brag about "taking on" Alaska big oil companies and winning
I never heard what she won!

So, I looked it up. She got a bill passed that it would be lawful to build a gas line from the Northern Slope of Alaska toward the USA, somewhere.

There is no requirement that the oil companies build it.

In fact they aren't going to do so unless many, many concessions, such as taxes and guarantees, are given by the government---which they haven't done!

Anyway it will take 10-15 years to build if no development problems occur!

Isn't this the same lady who criticizes "earmarks" for the study of genes in bears, while at the same time asking for "earmarks" to study sex in seals?

When you got no background in leadership and it is plunged upon you for women's votes, then one must invent leadership, I suppose.

I'll end up voting for her too--just as a duty to McCain!!!!!
Can she be shelved?

Palin is a looker and she's got my vote
