Electrocutions!
It seems that when an army invades another country but fails to continue the march until all significant functions are occupied, they tend to lose the war. They win every battle but have to do it over and over. In the end nothing has really changed.
I think the number dead is sixteen who have been killed in the showers of military barracks in Iraq. I don't suppose there is any record of all those shocked but not killed.
The question might be asked, why are they in barracks?
When we invaded France and Africa in WW2, we simply kept marching and supplying our guys until they reached the Russians coming from the other direction!
All the preparation for the war lasted some years, but the war once started was over quickly.
Some buildings were slept in along the way, some barns, some shells of buildings, some tents, etc., but how does one fight in a barracks?
Well, we are in barracks because we have been there long enough for some of the guys kids to be born and start school---that is why.
There has been about a million sent in and out, some three or four times.
Congress is trying to find out who installed the pumps that are shorting out and killing our guys. They aren't getting anywhere.
Is there anything else that could have been done more badly than it has? It is something every week!
Contractors are the problem with much of the problems. We couldn't do what was necessary with our troops (Corp of Engineers, SeaBees, etc.) so we hired thugs at wasteful prices.
The soldiers complaints about the shocks and deaths went no where. Yet, no contractor was shocked to death!
