George Marion Coleman, 74, Hiawassee, formerly of Fayetteville, died July 2, 2008. He was preceded in death by his parents, George W. and Willie Coleman. Services were at the Carl J. Mowell chapel with the Rev. Ike Reighard officiating. Interment was at the Georgia National Cemetery, Canton. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Diane D. Coleman, Hiawassee; daughters, LeGay and Bob Ruppenthal, Fayetteville, and Trina Coleman, Hiawassee; grandchildren, Danielle and Diana Coleman, Fayetteville. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
