OMG! Sheriff a Democrat!

Reminds me of the movie "Blazing Saddles,"
when Burt Reynolds, dressed up as a mangy old prospector, stood on the roof of a building looking for the new sheriff, and yelled the sheriff is a N........! Never got anything out but the first letter due to the band noise!

What has party got to do with being a Sheriff? Nothing, absolutely nothing. Unless favors are expected!

Exactly why they need to be hired and work only for the court and jail.
