Falling apart!

A section of the magazine, "Newsweek," comments about verbal mistakes by well known people, for the week.

Andrea Mitchell, a TV commentator and reporter, disparaged the folks in East Tennessee and Southwestern Virginia, while there with Barack Obama recently. She didn't understand why he was there among the "red-neks" and Appalachian people, since his votes are primarily young, educated and upward bound people.

All that was bad enough---the fact that she didn't know why he was there (he wants to give aid to the low income people in such areas, and wants their votes) but
NEWSWEEK made the big, big mistake!
They didn't know the difference in western Virginia, and West Virginia!
Under the same banner about Virginia, NEWSWEEK spoke of Dick Cheney talking about West Virginia in-breeding, and his problem with being a cousin of Obama!

In other words NEWSWEEK spoke of both these instances as happening in Virginia. Not one in western Virginia, and one in West Virginia.

We can no longer believe anything that is published or said as being the total unvarnished truth.

FOX even had to fire E. D. Hill from her premier job for saying the Obamas' banged fists as the terrorists do! O'Reilly might have gotten away with it, though!
