Salvation of Braelinn shopping

I don't know who owned the land where the old folks homes are being built near K-Mart on the south Parkway but maybe by the owners of the shopping center!

This might be known as reverse business growing!
Build a shopping center, then build things around it to shop there.

All that stuff going in on the West Side--even in Coweta County--will just be standard growth. However, since there won't be any way to get there from here, I suppose they will have to build some high-rises around there to supply shoppers for the millions of shopping spaces!

See where they are going to build another 14 screen movie theater at the Coweta County line where we can dump our kids, and as soon as they destroy it with filth--they can tear it down.

I can't wait to see the show on both sides of the road from the railroad bridge in PTC, into eastern Coweta in about two years.

Man that will be a real "planned" area!

Bob Adams owned that property.

He sold it for inependent living units - exactly what is was zoned for - hubby did the rezoning in 1985.

Don't get huffy about older folks unless you are either not planning on getting old or have not yet had your 55th birthday.

Lay off the booze while blogging - it hurts your thought process.

What with several more old folks homes and now a "Christian" College of some size coming on board, and of course the magnificant shopping area crossing the Fayette and Coweta border---not to mention the TDK extension "city" across the line, yet to come, we re really going to have a real "Planned" community, aren't we? "Planned" by developers, no doubt!
The County refused the old folks homes near the hospital, didn't they? I wonder why? Something about providing too many services and not getting paid, I think. But the developer gets paid.
What with geezers and college "Christians" driving golf carts---we are going to need four-laned paths--with no roots under the pavement! Stop lights will be necessary along with round-abouts and four-way stops, with bridges over 74 and 54, everywhere.
I don't know what "hubby did the rezoning," means? Were there any other legal agreements between the owner and the shopping center?
This is the kind of thing done by developers instead of slipping hundred dollar bills into the right pockets!

Everyone else is accused of boozing too much or being too old and of need of a "home."

Try "swiftboating" communizing, or Socializing those opposed to incorrect development for cash!

There are areas just right for older folks to live: In their own home; with Jerry Falwell's group in Lynchburg (simply by giving them everything you have and your SS); with daughter or son (not likely these days); In the back of a hospital where they can walk to the thousands of doctor's offices; or in a self-organized commune where no one under 55 is allowed for anything---even doctors.

our sage is so old his arteries are harder then steel. There is no one older the sage, he's so old he's outlived his other five identities on here(dollar, d.smith, etc, etc.

Now Popeye, you are stretching your luck!
I would liked to have met your nemises' "dollar, smith! They must have been bored to tears here years ago!
Hard arteries really don't hurt until they clog. Is "Old" that bad, to you?

By the way, do you know what happened to Muddle and Denise? Did they get fed up? I'm about to do so myself. No serious interest by most on here except maybe cats, sheriff's department worship, and local yokels.
One of the reasons we are stuck with Obama, McCain, and Hillary Clinton as our only choices!

You certainly are what you are, and always have been, and always will be!

Gee sage, if I stretch my luck to much what is going to happen? Old ain't bad to me, I ain't old yet and I don't know anything about muddle or Denise, it hasn't been my day to keep up with them, but I hope they are well. As far as Hillary and Obama go, they espouse everything you believe in but you can't vote for them because one's a women and one's black and you don't like either one so suddenly you're an "independent".
The only thing you've gotten right this year is that "I Yam what I Yam" and I always have been and always will be.
