TWO BEAUTIFUL BLACK LABS SEEKING GOOD HOME

AF A-10's picture

A female and male black lab pair found Saturday, 19 April, are in need of a good, loving home.

The male weighs 77 pounds.
The female weighs 75 pounds.

These dogs are approximately two years old. They are very social. At several dog park visits these two dogs exhibited no aggression. They also submit themselves to a person's directions. The day I found these dogs, I was able to hold them, leash them, and walk them home. They will both sit and lay over, however "stay" needs some work. They appear to be housebroken, however the male was fooled by a full size tree in my house.

I believe these dogs to be very well trained and, most likely, abandoned for economic reasons. They even climbed the ladder into my children's back yard play house!

Anyone knowing of a person or family that may have room in their lives for these dogs, please reach me at (817) 845-7706. Please spread the word!

These wonderful dogs are located at The Fayette Animal Shelter on South HWY 74
(770) 631-7210.

Thanks to all for the calls you will make and the help you may bring!

Cheers,

Kevin "Hack" King

You are lucky the pound took them and didn't try to accuse you of abandoning your pet! They must have read the blogs! I hope someone takes them. I will tell everyone I know. Labs are the sweetest things and love children.

I wouldn't wish 150 pounds of dogs onto anyone!
I like dogs very much. Had them as a child on a farm where they lived outdoors.
To bring dogs into a home where they don't get exercised twice a day properly, or their skin and coat taken care of well, is wrong.
They are used as toys to be worn out and disposed.
Neighborhoods don't like five pounds of stuff along the ways either.
Dogs like to urinate often, it is good for their kidneys and is the key reason they die early as house dogs.
If you want dogs to take care of properly, move to the country.

Hey cyclist, think we should ask Cal Beverly to ban this guy AF A-10?

I'm thinking he must be a puppy mill owner, he's always trying to peddle pooches on here!

Eye-wink

I might have considered them but for Hack's faux pas in another post. He mentioned dog farts. Sorry, I am looking for one of the non-farting breeds, such as the basenji.

And the fact that that they probably daily consume 10 lbs of chow each has got me eating my original thought of turning city dogs into country hounds.

Let's seen..... Christmas trees, climbing ladders, ripping that tire off the Volkswagen down the street.....

When there's two of them, they not only chase cars, they bring the smaller ones back.

If I believed this, I would take the dogs. I've always wanted a Mini Cooper (convertible).

The hard part is explaining convertible to them.
