Lee A. Jackson, Newnan, died Feb. 28, 2008. He was born Aril 16, 1922 in Goodwater, Ala., to the late Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jackson. He was retired from the United States Army with 20 years of service. He had worked for nine years with the AAFES, and 15 years with the Civil Service. He joined The Seventh Day Adventist Church in 1972 and served as the Head Deacon for 20 years. Services were at the Roscoe Jenkins chapel. Survivors include his wife of 58 years, Rosa Woodruff Jackson, Newnan; a son, Lee Andrew Jackson Jr., Sherman Oaks, Calif.; and sisters, Artwilton Shipp, Birmingham, Ala., and James and Esther Rabb, Los Angeles, Calif.
