Responce to ITZME

I am glad to hear that you have dined with us and sorry to hear that both experiences were unsatisfactory. I admit that at times the atmosphere has been chaotic. As I stated in a previous blog, we simply weren't prepared for the volume that we've been dealing with - most new businesses have to gradually build up a customer base and therefore have time to work out problems. We simply have not had that time yet - we've only been open 5 weeks so we are still in our infancy. Considering this volume, there have been a few times that we have run out of potatoes and other menu items later in the evening. I happen to know that this is a problem that even Longbranch has had before. My hope is that you will try us again and not hold the first month of our opening against us.

My last blog to you was actually very complimentary to Longbranch so I don't get the "sour grapes" comment. For 7 years I was proud to work at Longbranch. I loved my job, my co-workers, all the regular customers, and yes - the food! As I am not a politician, I do not feel the need to sling mud. I boasted about Longbranch's food during my employment there, and I will not bad mouth the food now. I still have friends who work there (not as many as I thought I had obviously). I loved Pam Payne, and I loved Jackie and Lindsay - right up to the day that I was fired for refusing to sign an employment contract.

If you were a regular there for so long, then it is probable that I know you. If you know me, then you should know that my character is good and that when I say how sorry I am for your bad experiences at Latitude 33 and that I would truly like for you to try us again - I sincerely mean it. If you do try us again, and I hope that you do, I would recommend, for now, coming during the week when we are not as chaotic and we would have the time to sit and speak with you on a personal basis.

Latitude 33 will survive this chaos. It's getting better with every week that passes, and Longbranch will survive as well. Competition makes all parties better because they have to stive for that to compete. If Longbranch thrives or fails, it will be on their own merit - not because Latitude 33 exists. There is alot business to be had in Fayetteville - plenty to go around.
