The Virtual Fence!

I hate to keep talking about this stupid fence from California to the Gulf Of Mexico, but today's announcement took the prize cake.
A few miles of "virtual Fence," was to be completed very soon and if it worked, then this type of fence would be used as much as possible to fence out southern immigrants.
The Homeland Secretary announced this week that the fence worked and would soon be in place.
Then the Investigative Arm of the government (GAO) released their report on the fence today and said that nothing about it would work! It was defective in all ways!
The fix for the virtual fence, if there is a fix, will take at least three more years!
That will leave a fence up to Presidential candidates who do not want a fence! None of them.

The farce of building a fence to win an election by a conservative republican has failed, and the fence was never to be built anyway.

If the USA had started controlling the borders 30,000,000 illegals ago, they couldn't control 30,000,000 more from coming in.

Like Europe, any border that one can walk across or boat in, will be!

The ONLY control is to not employ them and they will go home! Almost all politicians know this, but there are enough stupid or racist Americans to tantalize with such action just for their votes.

Ok, your question is always: how do we know who they are? We just hire people!

Baloney, The government has a record of every one of us and our past, back to our birth.

Just a piece of paper won't do it----records of taxes, etc., in Washington have all the answers.

Do you think that I, a USA citizen, could just go to work for the FBI tomorrow without them knowing where I came from?

Peach pickers are no different. Only takes a day or two if set up right.

Let me get this straight. We have the technology to hit a satellite that was moving at a rate of 6,000 mph with a missle on the first try, but the plans to expand the system in border areas will be pushed back three years to 2011 because of technological deficiencies.

Horse-Hockey!! If the government was serious about stemming the tide of these criminals entering our country, then the fence would be state of the art. This just goes to show how inept our government is at doing anything right- and Shrillary and Obama want to expand government programs.

It's the man you voted into office, GWB, that hasn't done a dang thing about our borders during his TWO adminstrations! Why EVEN include a Democrats name in your ridiculous post when YOUR Prez has continued to leave our borders open and vulnerable, especially AFTER 9/11.

What has YOUR Congress done? Puzzled

But I guess Pelosi's been pre-occupied.

She's gotten a taste of her own medicine, though. Seems she doesn't like being under siege! Laughing out loud

Pelosi "not happy"
Sad

"Pelosi Won't See Pink 'Nuts'"

April Fool's Tea Party for Pelosi

Then, of course, there was the

"Breasts Not Bombs" Protest
** WARNING: Partial Nudity ** Shocked

(Citing link for the quote)

"War is INDECENT"

The women of Code Pink and Breasts Not Bombs yesterday ponied up tit for tat in dialogue with Speaker Pelosi on ending the Iraq War, first before the San Francisco Federal Building on Golden Gate Avenue, then bouncing down to Hillary Clinton for President Headquarters on Howard Street to implore support.

I wonder when they plan to use this strategy at the Marines' recruitment office. Puzzled

"Obama Takes Big Risk on Driver's License Issue"
Excerpt

Obama made the promise to Latino leaders to take up immigration reform in his first year after Rep. Rahm Emanuel, D-Ill., chairman of the Democratic caucus, said his party might not raise the divisive issue again until the next president's second term, assuming a Democrat wins.

Latino leaders felt betrayed. For them, an immigration overhaul is a top priority in light of state and local crackdowns on illegal immigrants and federal raids in workplaces across the country.

Both camps discount speculation of simmering racial hostility that might make some Latinos reluctant to vote for a black man.

[Obama supports driver's licenses for illegals, er, "undocumented workers," so that they can drive themselves right across the border.]

Obama on Immigration "Reform"

Sen. Obama: "The debate in Washington right now, essentially centers on a couple of things. Number one, everybody uniformly believes that we have to improve border security." (Guess that would include Pres. Bush. Puzzled If Obama "believes" something must be done, why hasn't he and fellow Dems actually done anything? Puzzled)

"So, border security is something that, uniformly, I think, people are concerned about. [Really???] There are those like Representative Sensenbrenner in the House that have gone about it in the wrong way. They think that the way to deal with border security is to criminalize illegal immigrants, and criminalize those that might provide them with assistance. I think that is an impractical, dopey idea." (That's articulate.)

Of course, Obama, as well as Hillary, seems to say that he supports requiring immigrants to learn English. But does he support singing lessons for Uncle Teddy? Laughing out loud

"Senate Votes to Set English as National Language"
(Obama & Hillary both voted NO in 2006 & 2007.)

Typical Washington double-speak: English will be the national language but not the official language. Sen. Harry Reid labeled it "racist." Typical Dem response. Shocked

Status of S.1335: Referred to the Committee on Homeland Security

(You have to laugh to keep from crying about that one!)

The trouble with the Washington crowd is that most of them won't DO anything, other than offer empty platitudes, in an effort to win votes from both sides. "I can feel your pain. Now, may I have your vote?"

Your blaming Hillary and Obama for they failure of the inept Bush administration to build the fence is as stupid as invading Iraq to get Osama out of Afghanistan. Wrong target.

Read again, boys. I stated the following -
"If the government was serious about stemming the tide of these criminals entering our country, then the fence would be state of the art. This just goes to show how inept our government is at doing anything right- and Shrillary and Obama want to expand government programs."

I said the GOVERNMENT (Which includes President Bush) is inept. I have stated in previous posts that government doesn't do anything very effectively. The point was, as inept as the U.S. government is, Shrillary and Obama want to EXPAND it by offering more government programs that are sure to cost 10 times more than they estimate and will be poorly executed.

You both need to read a post entirely and in context before accusing me of stating something that wasn't in the post.

We’re going to have a government one way or the other. It’s the guy you’ve supported like a lap dog which has blown the oversight and construction of the fence and almost doubled the size of government. You attack the democrats and the basis for your attack is that your guy is inept?

Talk about gullible dimwits!

My neighbor put one of these in his yard to keep his lab puppy in. The dog was fitted with a shock collar. As he approached the line of the buried wire ("fence") he experienced an increasingly intense shock.

The theory is that the animal will be conditioned by this to avoid even approaching the boundaries, as it comes to associate certain areas of the yard with pain.

But this, of course, presupposes some level of basic intelligence in the animal. This dog was not quite bright enough to make a definite connection between the one thing and the other. In his case, I'm pretty sure that he simply assumed that the shocks were random, conforming to no pattern at all--just something that happens to him from time to time. He went right through it with a yelp and then was loose in the neighborhood.

"OW! Something SHOCKED me!" (Keeps heading towards the fence) "There it is again! OW! That hurts!" (Crosses the line as it becomes the most intense.) "OWWWW!!!! Hey!" (Runs around the neighborhood, pain-free, then, finally, decides to come home.) "OW! There is it again! WHY DOES THIS KEEP HAPPENING TO ME?!"

Now, Mexican people appear to me to be reasonably intelligent so that they would be far more likely to associate events. If we were to fit Mexicans with similar shock collars, then we would have but to stretch a buried wire along the border.

Makes about as much sense as the virtual fence!

The Mexicans would wear the collars, they are generlly hard-working cooperative people,

You better worry about all the South American gangsters and others who sneak in there!
Don't give them a job, and put the gangsters in jail!
