Minter vs Spring Hill

Having been involved in both schools and Brooks Elementary and having attended Fayette County Schools since the 70's. If I had to pick an elementary school county wide for my child to attend it would be #1 Sara Harp Minter, #2 Brooks Elementary, and then possibly #3 Spring Hill. As stated before, you better not wish for something that will come back and bite you at a later re-zoning. My kids will go to Whitewater or possibly new high school in Brooks area or I'll pick up and move!

If a school system is growing at the rate of 750 students a year, they must be building a school a year to keep up.

It normally takes five years {from planning to opening} to build a high school.

Keep the faith.

Unfortunately Fayette County growth is now much less than that I forgot what they said it was...maybe about 200 or so.

I have heard the next HS would be in the center of town (54/Tyrone Rd) but that was a while ago.
