your comment about leggy gals on FOX made me think of the one I saw day before yesterday....a new record as far as I know.
The dress was 18-20 inches above the knee, with the "top" of the thigh protruding.
I don't know their rules for such things on a news program, but I suspect she and her supervisor violated them!
Coulter has done worse, but who in the world wants to look at those bones anyway!
You really don't have to watch FOX very much (which I don't) to get the idea.
That, without a doubt, is the worst network that has ever been conceived! If we didn't have freedom of speech, they would have been gone long ago.

To learn that television networks would DARE to use attractive male and female news presenters to increase their viewship, ratings, and advertising revenue!

I watch Candy Crowley and Helen Thomas every chance I get. Wow, sexy broads!

Funny Laughing out loud

You and I agree on the short skirts issue. You do wonder if Brit S will be doing the news next. Or maybe the news gals are hoping for their Hollywood break? Laughing out loud

We also agree on Michael Jackson. YUK!!!! Shocked

BTW, I know that you can spell a lot better than "deneese." Laughing out loud

Maybe your "book" would progress faster if you would read the encyclopedia and more books. Puzzled

Brittany didn't let you down yesterday! Now, back to Ledger!
O'Reilly was raising hell this morning about the mis-treatment of the heavy doper, Ledger! Bill remembers his hard time with his phone sex problem! He thought he paid it off, but I feel sure a story is to come on that.
Michael brought out his kids yesterday without masks. But he wore one! Wonder what he looks like now? Not Liz this time, I think.
What book?
I have read the encyclopedia (Brit.) a few times. Have two walls of books!

DIdn't Dan Rather refer to the "tarting up" of network news? Dumb it down and tart it up.

Might as well bring on Naked News. Do any viewers really go there for news? Just as I've heard people say, "I read Playboy for the editorials." Yeah, right.

Walter Cronkite wasn't sexy. Well, maybe. I never saw his legs.

Makes me think of C.S. Lewis's observation:

"You can get a large audience together for a striptease act--that is, to watch a girl undress on the stage. Now suppose you come to a country where you could fill a theatre by simply bringing a covered plate on to the stage and then slowly lifting the cover so as to let every one see, just before the lights went out, that it contained a mutton chop or a bit of bacon, would you not think that in that country something had gone wrong with the appetite for food? And would not anyone who had grown up in a different world think there was something equally queer about the state of the sex instinct among us?"

My objection to FOX and the "bottom showing" tarts, is not the legs boobs and rears, but the fact that they call it NEWS!
Those "readers" know little and sometimes nothing of which they speak. Don't ask them any unscripted questions! They are numb.

You're a wealth of C.S. Lewis & Chesterton quotes. Smiling

Cute #1 grandson. Don't you have more than 1 grandchild? If so, post their pics as well. Liked the pic of you & Mrs. M, as well as your "Opie" pic. Smiling

I'm so glad Mrs. M is recovering. She is doing better today, isn't she? Wish she hadn't had surgery but at least it's behind her. The recovery period can be rough (from observing my mom after several surgeries). Just don't make her laugh too much if it's still painful. Smiling
