Ok, this is pushing it

So I sat down tonight expecting to watch a Republican presidential debate, I knew it was on a spanish channel but some how I was wishing I could access an english version- nope. It is absured to exclude the majority of Americans from watching a live Presidential debate, simply to appeal to the spanish speaking people.

I am very angry!!

Yup, I agree with you 100%, Shelby. Here's the news story for those who missed it: Republican Presidential Candidates Tone Down Anti-Illegal Immigration Rhetoric at Spanish Language Network Debate.

Frankly, I'm disappointed that Representative Tancredo was the only one who declined to attend. This debate had only one purpose: pandering to illegals. Think about it: there are millions of illegal immigrants in the US. A large percentage is Hispanic and thus speak Spanish as their primary language. (Needless to say, of course, not all illegals are bad people, but they are law breakers by definition.) Therefore, this "debate" was a show put on to try to score a few votes from Spanish speaking illegal voters. And the Republicans wonder why they lose elections when they do this stuff? Puzzled

No more "Push 1 for English" please! Laughing out loud If you are in America, you should make every reasonable effort to learn and speak English. Smiling

hablamamos Espanol!

Or, something like that.

It is becoming necessario!

Everybody in the world who is educated speaks English, so we need to get with it.

Time to overcome the tower of Babel curse.

Si, Senora, es necessario.

I'm working on it.

gracias
