The Peachtree City Playbook

Here's how the "moneyed elite" ("developers" is too constricting a term) do things around here:

1. Identify pliable candidates who will do their bidding
Harold Logsdon - Check
Matt Ramsey - Check

2. Announce "$30,000 campaign chest" to scare off possible contenders
Harold Logsdon - Check (later docs showed $20K)
Matt Ramsey - Check

3. Develop generic campaign platform with stock phrases that allow for maximum flexibility in office (must include phrase "zero based budgeting")
Harold Logsdon - Check
Matt Ramsey - Check

4. Unleash swarm of "one-day wonders" on Citizen blog to trash the opposition
Harold Logsdon - Check
Matt Ramsey - Check

5. Letter to the Editor from all previous PTC mayors (except one, of course) promoting their candidate
Harold Logsdon - Check
Matt Ramsey - Check

Quite a few coincidences, no?

Is that all you can come up with? Puzzled

Either you were being lazy by not completing your entire list or you were being generous toward the Lawyer Ramsey campaign. LOL!

What have I left out? I looked over that list a couple of times and had a nagging feeling I was missing something. Please enlighten me and I'll add it to the list.

I had to think on that one Sniffles. In retrospect you summarized the 'cloned candidates' very well. My points, after further thought, would merely add detail and footnotes to your already well thought out blog.

I Salute Thee, (for whatever that's worth)

Dittos for Sniffles...Glad to have you back. You frequently make very well written posts and we appreciate the effort. I may not always agree, but you definitely contribute to the dialogue.
