Flat Creek to present Christmas Pageant Dec. 8, 9
Members of Flat Creek Baptist Church will have their annual Christmas Pageant, “The Light of Christmas,” Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8 and 9, at 7 p.m. The event will be a full production of color, lights, scenery, costumes and props. PTCUMC plans UMW brunch Dec. 8
The ladies of Peachtree City United Methodist Church will host their UMW Christmas Brunch, Saturday, Dec. 8 at 9:30 a.m. at the Windgate Campus. Special guest will be Nancy Perkerson. Children’s choirs to present dinner theater
The Fayetteville First Baptist Church Children’s Choirs will present “Christmas Crosstalk,” a dinner theater event Saturday, Dec. 8 and Sunday, Dec. 9, at 6 p.m. in the church fellowship hall. Absolute ticket reservation deadline is Monday, Dec. 3, or while supplies last. Have breakfast with Santa at North Fayette UMC
The North Fayette United Methodist Men will sponsor “Breakfast With Santa,” Saturday, Dec. 8, beginning at 9 a.m. A pancake breakfast will be served from 9-10:30 a.m. and free photos with Santa will be taken from 10-11 a.m. Also planned is a Secret Santa Workshop and other activities for all children. PTC Christian plans car show Dec. 8
Hot Rods on a Mission and Peachtree City Christian Church will present The 2007 Jingle Bell Classic Car Show on Saturday, Dec. 8, from 12-4 p.m. at the church, 500 Kedron Dr. The event will feature fifties music, food and fun. Santa will be available from 1-3 p.m. with pictures, children’s activities and facepainting. General admission is $3 donation (Get in free with donation of new pair of children’s or adult shoes). Proceeds to benefit PTCCC 2007 Santa’s Boots Mission Project. Christmas at Skipstone set for Dec. 13-16
Skipstone Camp and Retreat Center will host its first “Christmas at Skipstone” Dec. 13-16 from 6-10 p.m. nightly. There will be over 200,000 lights, family games and fun, ministry expo, Christmas craft fair, luminary nativity walk, Christmas music and more. Admission is $7 per person (under 5 free). Brooks UMC’s Christmas Cantata is Dec. 16
The Brooks United Methodist Church Music Department will present its annual Christmas Cantata Sunday, Dec. 16, at 7 p.m. The cantata will feature a full symphony orchestra with the Adult Chancel Choir and Orchestra along with youth soloists Taylor Beeland and Amelia Pearch. This year’s performance is entitled “Canticle of Christmas” and features several traditional carols and hymns as well as original compositions by Tom Fettkee and Camp Kirkland. The performance is free, but parking is limited.

Christmas rock opera returns to Fayette
“Joseph’s Journey,” a Christmas rock opera will be performed twice at Fayette Community Church Sunday, Dec. 16, at 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. The cast of church members and rock music of the group “Journey” will tell the story of Joseph and his decision to become Jesus’ earthly father. The Fayette Presbyterian Church will host its annual Spaghetti with Santa dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 12 at 5:30 p.m. Visit with Santa Claus and friends, sing Christmas carols and hear a Christmas story. Cost is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Proceeds will go to support the youth programs.
