Verna Pacelli, 67, Peachtree City, died Nov. 1, 2007. She had worked for many years as a certified nursing assistant, six of those years were spent working for Southland Nursing Home, Peachtree City. A lover of animals, she often supported the Humane Society. A memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 1, 2007 at 2 p.m. It will be at 108 St. Albans Way, Peachtree City. Survivors include a special friend of 26 years, Nancy Fulmer, Peachtree City; a brother, the Rev. Andrew and Sonia DeRier, Maine; and nephews, Andrew Wayne DeRier, and Sterling Paul DeRier.
