Karen Leigh Shira Isherwood, 36, Newnan, died Oct. 28, 2007. She was born March 14, 1971 in Atlanta. She was preceded in death by her father, Lyle Shira, maternal grandfather, James D. Hallisey, and paternal grandparents, William and Edith Shira. She enjoyed sewing, baking, and time with family and friends. Diagnosed with Stage IV Metastasis Breast Cancer in May, 2005, she never let it slow her down for long. She never wasted time complaining and always believed it was in her life for a purpose. Services were at Royal Baptist Church, Newnan. Survivors include her husband, James Darren Isherwood, Newnan; children, James Darren Isherwood Jr., Hannah Elizabeth Isherwood, Matthew Lyle Isherwood, Rachel Anne Isherwood, and Zachary Thomas Isherwood; maternal grandmother, Elizabeth Hallisey; mother and stepfather, Barbara Michael Shira and the Rev. Carl Greene; siblings, Leslie Shira Echols, and Krista Shira Frost; and extended family, Carl's children, Rebekah Greene Miller, Kristen Greene Miller, Sarah Greene Miller, and Adam Greene.
