October is National Stamp Collecting Month and Roosevelt’s Little White House, the US Postal Service and the Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs will commemorate the occasion with a special program. The US Postal Service will hand cancel souvenir envelopes with a special Postmark and the Southeast Federation of Stamp Clubs will present exhibits and provide a “hands-on” program where children and adults can learn more about the hobby of collecting stamps. The evening program will include a 13-minute film: “The World Through Stamps” and guest speakers will provide lectures on “FDR on Stamps of the USA” and “FDR: Around the world on stamps” $4-$7 per person.
