Sara "Kathryn" Milner Blake, 85, Fayetteville, died Aug. 14, 2007, just three months after her husband Gene Blake, died. They would have been married 65 years on Aug. 29, 2007. Graveside services were at Magnolia Cemetery, Concord, Ga., with the Rev. Bob Graham officiating. Survivors include a son, Dr. and Mrs. Robert Blake, Fayetteville; a daughter, Peggy and Ron Mathis, Fernandina Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Laura and Zach Guthrie, Melissa Mathis, Jennifer Blake, John Miller, Lydia and Marcus Mansfield; great-grandchildren, Austin and Kala Guthrie, and Sarah and Hannah Mansfield; a sister, Mary Patie and Marcus Mansfield; a brother-in-law, William and Janice Blake Sr.; a nephew, William Blake Jr.; and nieces, Kay Milner Vitali, Bette Blake Ciarvella, and Trace Blake Samon. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
