Fayette theater awakens ‘Sleeping Beauty’

Fayette Coweta Family Theatre's musical production of "Disney's Sleeping Beauty, Kids" will take stage this weekend.

Don't miss the opportunity to join your favorite Disney characters for this fairy tale which will be followed by a fun, creative and yummy “Princess Aurora” Birthday Party for all in attendance.

Party goers will feast on yummy treats and drinks as they create a special “Royal” take home craft and visit with the main characters from the show.

Briar Rose/Princess Aurora will be portrayed by Anna Marie Smith and Prince Phillip will be portrayed by Ben Papac. The Good Fairies will also be on hand and will be played by Emma Widtfelt (Flora), Marguerite Murrell (Fauna) and McKenna Ceci (Merryweather).

All the magic will be staged at the Fayette Family YMCA Lodge House Black Box Theater at 215 Huiet Road in Fayetteville on Friday, August 17 at 7 p.m., Saturday, August 18 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. and Sunday, August 19 at 2:30 p.m.
