Edna Shugart Chapman, 95, Fayetteville, died July 25, 2007. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas A. Chapman. A private memorial service was held. Survivors include daughters, Carol Monroe, Canton, and Connie and David Lipham, Fayetteville; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
