James David Nolin, 85, Fayetteville, died July 2, 2007. He was born Oct. 11, 1921 in New Brockton, Ala. He was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Ward Nolin. He was a veteran of the United States Army in World War II. He was a member of the College Park Masonic Lodge, F&AM. Graveside services were at the College Park Cemetery with Pastor Lewis Adkinson officiating. Survivors include a son, David and Julie Nolin, Fayetteville; a daughter, Angelyn Askew, Fayetteville; grandchildren, Victoria Nolin and Jake Nolin; and brother, Frank McGarr, Columbus. Carl J. Mowell & Son Funeral Home, Fayetteville, was in charge.
