Georgia Commissioner of Agriculture Tommy Irvin is alerting Georgians to a recall of blueberry yogurt manufactured by a California company.

WholeSoy & Co. of San Francisco is recalling 34,656 cups of WholeSoy & Co. blueberry yogurt because it may contain milk without listing it on the label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to milk run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume this product.

The yogurt was distributed nationwide through retailers.

This batch of yogurt has "best by" date of June 22. The UPC code is 664372600086. The containers are 6-oz plastic yogurt cups.

The recall was initiated after allergy tests confirmed the presence of milk in samples sent for testing after two customers reported allergic reactions. Subsequent investigation has not revealed the source of contamination. The investigation into the cause continues.

Consumers who have purchased WholeSoy & Co. blueberry yogurt with "best by" date June 22 are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers with questions may contact the company at 1-877-569-6376.
