After reading this afternoon's comments, I don't know what is worse: vicious language and personal threats that occur often, or mushy talk about how nice everyone is and wanting to meet them!
Apparently, we have a bunch of slightly unbalanced on here, looking for love and hating anyone who confuses them with facts.
With that, I will say again: If we had stayed in Afghanistan and wiped out Bin Laden and company, and the Opium crops, instead of invading Iraq and calling every Muslim nut in the world there, we would, by now, have it done with. Saddam would have either been starved out or overthrown.
Let me congratulate Bush, Cheney, Wolfowitz, Franks, Zinney, the CIA, (and numerous other generals who went along for the ride) on their accomplishments.

Yes I do believe that battling evil (Islamo Fascists, Saddam's Regime, Osama Bin Laden, Iran, Syria, Hezbollah, and any other terrorist despot) is a matter of survival for our country and other somewhat democratic countries. The World Issues stuff is much more interesting to me and consider this: as a Democrat in PTC, I have exactly the same influence on World Issues as local issues!

Although, if I have seen one blurb about TDK, I have seen a thousand! That's local!
Also treatment of local dogs and cats has been most popular.
The Fayetteville and PTC councils also have had their share of coverage.
I really see it the opposite of what you do. We need to cover our government and politicians. We need to be interested in our war.
