Second annual show held at Shakerag Knoll Temperatures have been skyrocketing lately, pollen is falling from the sky like snow and flowers are in bloom. It follows then, that spring is truly upon us, and what better way to celebrate than by spending a Saturday afternoon browsing around the second annual Spring Yard and Garden Show in Peachtree City. Hosted by the Peachtree City Recreation Department, the event scheduled for Saturday, April 14 at Shakerag Knoll will feature an array of vendors for those interested in sprucing up their outdoor living environments. “Many of last year’s vendors are returning, but we are attracting new folks that deal in landscaping, outside lighting, yard art, porch and yard accessories,” noted Carolyn Stanton of the Peachtree City Recreation Department. “People are really interested in backyard kitchens, water features and low maintenance yard features.” The show will run on Saturday only from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Shakerag Knoll, the site of the annual Shakerag Arts & Crafts Festival. The vendors for the Spring Yard & Garden Show concentrate on items or services for your yard, garden, porches or other outdoor spaces. Food vendors will also be on had for those who want to make a day of it. Admission and parking for the show is free. The Shakerag Knoll area is adjacent to the Peachtree City Parks and Recreation, at 191 McIntosh Trail in Peachtree City. login to post comments |
