F. P. "Junior" Banks, 77, Brooks, died on Feb. 7, 2007. He was born July 12, 1929 in Fayette County, son of Fadie and Eleanor McEachern Banks Sr. He was the owner of Banks T.V. Sales and Service in East Point. Services were at the Parrott Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Charles Johnson officiating. Interment was at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, College Park. Survivors include his wife, Jerri Hill Banks, Brooks; sons, Jimmy and Sheila Banks, McDonough, Ray and Deb Banks, Hampton, and Joel and Kaye Banks, Locust Grove; daughters, Diane and Jack Allen, Newnan, Lucy Banks, Atlanta, Becky Daniel and Gary Jones, Hogansville, and Candy and Dwight Haymon, Snellville; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Memorial donations may be made to Fairview Baptist Church, 583 Fairview Rd., Brooks, GA 30205. Parrott Funeral Home, Fairburn, was in charge.
