The annual Lenten Lunches hosted by the Fayetteville First United Methodist Church will begin next Wednesday (Ash Wednesday), Feb. 21, and will continue each Thursday through the Lenten season.

A light lunch prepared by ladies from the United Methodist Women will be served, followed by a guest speaker. Lunches usually last no more than an hour. The speaker for Feb. 21 is the Rev. Mark Westmoreland, pastor of FFUMC.

The church is across the street from the Fayette County Courthouse on Lanier Avenue (Ga. Hwy. 54) in downtown Fayetteville.
