Bringing the Developer and Politician Issues Together

PTC Guy's picture

Bringing common issues together goes a long way to crystalizing issues and realities.

You see a lot of scattered defense of Logsdon on separate issues. As if each is the only issue attached to him.

You see all the plans, proposals and actions that flooded onto the poltical scene beginning in January. As if created and scheduled to be contingent with Logsdon's taking of office.

You see last minute meetings and votes, as if they were emergency and unknown issues prior.

And so on.

Such things are much easier to deal with as separate articles and issues.

But how easy is the pattern that has developed to be dismissed when seen together?

Judge and comment for yourselves. Take a look HERE.

Mudcat and his Direct PAC buddies danced with cannibals and they are now part of the stew. Advice to the cannibals: Use a lot of seasoning!

I’ve never seen such pathetic attempts to spin a disastrous batch of fouled government decisions in my whole life.

Save Our City listed a Citizen article from July 5, 2002 with the headline “TDK talks could get hot.” Mudcat said tries to get you to believe Steve Brown was all wrong about TDK.

Steve was quoted as saying, “Peachtree City Mayor Steve Brown worried earlier this year that Coweta officials may allow rampant development along the new highway on the Coweta side and create more of a traffic problem than a traffic solution.”

Was he wrong? Well if you believe what the local newspapers, GRTA and Coweta County have to say, Steve hit the center of the bulls eye. Go back like PTC_Guy has done and look at how the others on the dark side constantly lied about TDK. Now Mudcat stated Steve was “crying wolf” over the TDK issue. Read the quote again, it looks to me as though his claims are right on target.

When you are caught in the middle of a big old lie like Bob Lenox and Direct PAC, you have no choice but to try to spin the heck out of things. They desperately try to convince anyone who will listen that the development authority thugs were really saints. They will also tell you they never claimed TDK was going to save us from traffic problems.

The records and archives don’t lie folks!

Say what you want about Steve Brown’s style, but his points are well made and I have yet to find anyone who accused him of selling the city out. He has an understanding of how things work. His major problem was the developer crowd controlled everything.

Everyone is scratching their heads over why the mayor and council would commit to TDK and the high density annexation on Highway 74. I think we all know why Mudcat and Direct PAC favor both.

The PAC people like Mudcat who call Steve an idiot, but can’t refute a single thing in his letters, have lost their credibility. Even though they have backed away from Mayor Logsdon, they still support his damaging decisions. They are about to slit the throat of their scapegoat mayor now that their train wreck development plans are nearing completion.

Even the city employees are starting to rebel. The terms "public service" and "public good" are extinct.
