A whole lot of people nag about Mayor Logsdon but what about their golden boy Don Haddix?

You can talk all you want about Harold's China trip and his business relations. Look at Don Haddix supporting a $9.9 million private recreation spree. He wants us to build a privately run sports complex on city land for none other than Dar Thompson.

I have defended Mayor Logsdon and Mitch Seabaugh in the past and I defend their right to choose as they see fit. They were elected by the people and until they're unelected, leave them alone.

Big mouth Mike King is the same guy who had weekly alcohol sprees with Harold Logsdon. Back then he agreed with Logsdon 100%. So what has happened? Did Mike find the old Steve Brown religion and give his heart to the comprehensive plan? Did Steve Brown's sermons in the newspaper bring Mike to his knees?

They are doing it again, Steve Brown is being converted into a populous symbol. The more the Direct PAC, Bob Lenox and others go after Brown, the stronger he becomes. The bunch of simpletons didn’t learn a thing from the old city attorney's failed attempt at trying to shut Brown up with a lawsuit geared at intimidation. Mayor Logsdon’s stab at trying to save face over TDK was pathetic. TDK will be beneficial to our community because it will generate economic growth and it will make our region stronger. All this business about getting employees to work on time is just a deplorable way to fool the public. Describe it for what it is, TDK is a chance to make something out of East Coweta County. Sure, there will be drawbacks like traffic and some sales tax evaporation, but it will make us stronger.

The whole TDK extension thing is spiraling out of control. Mayor Logsdon is not making a bit of sense by not wanting to expand the road to four-lanes like all the professional traffic engineers have suggested.

Steve Brown’s campaign finance letter to the editor was slanted. He is making it look like Westmoreland and Seabaugh are doing something illegal, and they are on the up-and-up.

Look, with the declining economy, it makes a lot of sense to try to build in Coweta before the housing bust, and get that area established. You can get reasonable loans from the bank on development right now. It's going to tighten up later on.

Everybody just needs to shut up about the extra-large developments that are in the works. Who cares what Steve Brown thought about TDK? Steve Brown slowed residential growth down considerably and the voters said that wasn’t the way they wanted to go. That was good for our community. We need wide open markets. A lot of builders had to go outside of Fayette County to find work. If it hadn't been for Fayetteville and Tyrone, there wouldn't had been any housing built in Fayette County to speak of.
