According to the Citizen News, new construction are down 78% in Fayetteville, 61% in the County and 59% in Tyrone. Tyrone’s income problem is more serious than other areas. Their permit problem was made worse by a restrictive zoning ordinance that took away commercial land uses. Dozens of businesses were forced to leave and an untold amount of new businesses were rejected over the past 4 years.

The Shadow: Forget the Arguing about Democrats & Republicans

It won’t change the fate of America & Western Civilization. The voluminous works of many historians from both sides of the spectrum including Marx, Toynbee, Spengler, Sarkar & Keynes helped produce a proven theory of the social cycle of historical determinism. History proves that society is composed of 4 types of people that create a cycle of social change and eras, each with a different frame of mind. They are by nature, Warriors, Intellectuals, Capitalists, and Laborers.

Main Stream: Israeli-Palestinian conflict in Gaza

Main Stream's picture

So, the Palestinian's and Hamas lob several bombs and missiles over the fence at Israel. I know they're sick and tired of being oppressed, their children starved, rations, etc etc. I can understand their plight and so the Palestinian people fight on. But, I can also see why Israel would retaliate against them. Israel attacks with major bombage and now crosses the border into Gaza in order to obliterate Hamas, with of course mega collateral damage and civilian deaths. Why did Israel attack with such force this time? The Palestinians have always been poking sticks at the big tiger in the cage but why did Israel get so pissed off now? Why not years ago? Is this their last attempt to finally eradicate the Palestinians in Gaza?

Nitpickers: Wag The Dog!

Most of the Israel's government leaders are up for election!

They probably would not have been elected if they had not bombed and invaded a small beach house in a place called Gaza.

TonyF: I need some help with my PC.

TonyF's picture

I need some help from a truly savy computer techie.
Here's the skinny: almost every time I place a blank CD or DVD in my burner it causes My PC to shut-down. It then reboots itself and will shut down again, maybe 2 or 3 times, until I remove the disk. I have deleted the drivers and have also replaced the burner to no avail.

truthandjustice: Tyrone’s Neighborhood Alliance 2008

In 2007 at almost every council meeting Tyrone Neighborhood Alliance spokesman Don Rehwaldt appeared with a list of issues that the Tyrone Neighborhood Alliance and its supporters would like to see be brought to closure. He would state “It is our desire that a solution or direction be given to Town management or any other responsible entity within the Council’s purview to effect closure. In most cases, the solutions are apparent! Required is the leadership of the Mayor and Council with instructions to Town management to carry out Council’s direction in a timely manner.” He would end with “It is the intent of the Tyrone Neighborhood Alliance and its supporters to readdress each of the following issues at every Council meeting until the issues are resolved.”
