A call to the Fayette County Sheriff's Department concerning a robbery resulted in charges against the alleged robber as well as the victim, who learned the hard way to be careful who he invited into his home. According to the Fayette County Sheriff's Department, a deputies were dispatched Dec. 16 at about 9 a.m. to 125 Meredith Court near Tyrone. The caller, 18-year-old Tim Henderson Jr., said that two people forced their way into his home, held him at gunpoint, tied him up and took some electronic items before escaping in a 2000 Mercedes belonging to Henderson's family. After interviewing Henderson further, however, investigators learned the youth had gone to Atlanta and picked up a woman believed to be a prostitute, along with another person, before returning to his home. It was later learned that the Mercedes had a global positioning satellite (GPS) system, which would enable police to track and locate the car. After calling the car company, police were able to alert Atlanta Police Department as to the vehicle's whereabouts, and it was stopped in a matter of minutes once Mercedes personnel began tracking it. Two people in the car were taken into custody, and one was subsequently released. The driver, 26-year-old Tremico Quncell Watson of Atlanta, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, giving a false name, and armed robbery. Watson, who has an arrest record that includes a number of theft and weapons charges, was determined to have been at Henderson's home with the woman on the night of the robbery, investigators said. As for Henderson, he has been charged with making a false report of a crime and possession of cocaine. Both he and Watson are still in the Fayette County Jail.
