Fayetteville Christian announces choir schedule

Members of the adult choir and praise groups at Fayetteville Christian Church will resume their regularly scheduled rehearsals beginning Wednesday, Jan. 5. The adult choir will resume meeting on Jan. 5 at 6:45 p.m. There will be no adult choir rehearsal on Dec. 29. Praise team will meet on Jan. 5 immediately following adult choir rehearsal. Praise teams and musicians will meet on Sunday, Jan. 2 at 9:15 a.m. Praise band will resume rehearsals on Thursday, Jan. 6 at 7:30 p.m. There will be no band rehearsal on Dec. 30. McDonough Road announces holiday schedule

McDonough Road Baptist Church will not have Wednesday evening services on Dec. 29. Sunday morning services on Jan. 2 will include Sunday School and morning worship only. The church will return to its regular schedule on Wednesday, Jan. 5.

Seniors at Fayetteville Christian plan activities

Fayetteville Christian Church members age 52 and older are invited to a lunch meeting Sunday, Jan. 9 following the morning worship service. The purpose of the meeting is to discuss ideas and possibilities for the Senior Adult Ministry (S.A.M.'s Group). Lunch reservations are requested. The last day to sign up is Jan. 2. River's Edge youth will have skating party

Youth at River's Edge Community Church will have an outing on Wednesday, Dec. 29 which will include shopping at the Mall of Georgia and a skating party at Centennial Olympic Park. Those planning to attend are asked to meet at the church at 9 a.m., bring money for lunch at the mall and dinner at the Varsity, shopping, and $7 for skating. The group will return to the church at 10 p.m.

Fayetteville Christian plans Big Wheel Derby

Fayetteville Christian Church invites its younger members age 2-4 years old to participate in the annual Big Wheels Derby scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 15 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Children are asked to being their bikes, trikes, big wheelers, etc. to the church for the derby. Lunch will be served. Sign up at the church or call 770-461-8763.
