Home Depot provides helping hand to the hospital

The Fayette Community Hospital (FCH) Auxiliary recently received a helpful hand from the Fayetteville Home Depot.

In a donation to the Hospital, The Home Depot delivered several flats of fall flowers for use in the FCH Courtyard. The Auxiliary donated the area to the Hospital upon its inception and has overseen the planting and maintenance since the fall of 1997.

The Auxiliary will now be receiving assistance from The Home Depot crew which will supply new plant materials each season and help with some of the long-term maintenance.

“The Courtyard, while it is an aesthetic enhancement to our facility, gives patients and families a break from the everyday excitement and high-intensity setting of the Hospital,” said Maredith Buco, Auxiliary President. “The area is not only a great place for patients and families to relax, but is a nice respite for employees, too. We are very thankful for The Home Depot's generous contribution.”
