The next regular meeting of the Beautification Committee will be Monday, Dec. 20, at 6:30 p.m. at the Peachtree City Library.

The committee will discuss the locations for the annual tree planting, set for Jan. 15.

The public and prospective members are invited.

Comprised of volunteers working with the city of Peachtree City, the Beautification Committee raises funds and sponsors beautification projects on public lands in the community. Projects include an annual tree planting in January, which adds 1,000 seedlings to Peachtree City's green belts and rights of way each year, and maintains the flowers at the Peachtree City civic sign at the intersection of Ga. highways 54 and 74.
