jail plan is `monstrous' My family moved to Georgia 16 months ago. We left south Florida purely by choice, sick of the congestion, fed up with the poor school system, and finally appalled by the violence and lack of togetherness. After many months of in-depth searching in and around Atlanta, we found the perfect location to raise our two boys Fayetteville! What more could we ask for? Beautiful countryside, great schools, and a real sense of community, none of which we had in Florida. We had never felt so relaxed, and ready to enjoy watching our young boys grow up here. Until, that is, the decision of building a jail right on our doorstep reared its ugly head! It is a monstrous plan, and a dreadful location, and what saddens me is that those individuals on the jail board [sic] who encourage this disaster are supposed to be members of this loving, caring community! They certainly do not have our best interests at heart. I'd like to know how many of them will have jail walls almost in their backyard? I don't suppose any! Mrs. Elizabeth Burcar Fayetteville
