Art
display in Newnan Artists from the Fayette Society of Fine Art and the Southern Crescent Alliance of Visual Artists (SCAVA) will have their work featured at the Daily Grind Cafe in Newnan beginning Dec. 15 through Feb. 29. There will be a wide range of subjects in several mediums found in this display from several of the society's artists. Their art work will be available for purchase as well as for your viewing enjoyment. A Fayette Society of Fine Art member, Pam Hardin, has paintings currently on display through Dec. 14. Hardin, a native of San Diego now residing in metro Atlanta, is a diversified artist and expert in several mediums and is a well known teacher in the area. Her opportunities to travel extensively have been a valuable resource and given her a wide range of subjects from which to paint. Her works have been displayed in the U.S. Senate Office Building, the Pentagon, the White House and the Governor's office in Georgia's State Capitol. SCAVA includes Butts, Clayton, Fayette, Henry, Rockdale and Spalding counties. Visual artists wanting to display their art must be members of an art group in one of those seven counties, such as the Fayette Society of Fine Art (SOFA). For more information on SCAVA, contact vice president Barbar Scruggs at 770-583-2093 or visit the Web site at www.scavagroup.com.
