The Point offers a glimpse of classic Southern architecture

Just as a lighthouse directs ships, the unique architecture of the lighthouse home in Peachtree City brought retired Army three-star Gen. John Yeosock and his wife, Betta, to The Point on Lake Kedron.

Aptly named by Yeosock's brother, Three Star Point is a reflection of historic Southern architecture. It is a one of a kind creation by custom builder Eddie Landham of Jordon Homes and Properties and is reminiscent of long-forgotten lighthouse homes in Savannah and Charleston.

The Yeosocks' home includes a lighthouse that spans all three floors of the home.

“It's incredible how Eddie was able to replicate in detail every portion of the house,” said the retired general. “Even the garage is in the site where the carriage house would be located.”

“After living in 29 different places all over the world, it is nice to have a place to call home,” said Betta Yeostock. “Peachtree City and The Point on lake Kedron have so much to offer. Not only is the city beautiful, but the people who live here have made us feel welcome. This is the perfect house, in the perfect location.”

The Point is surrounded on three sides by Lake Kedron and features a neighborhood square with a trellised park, which serves as the community centerpiece.

Many of the 62 home sites are situated on the lake and around the neighborhood square. For information, phone Olivia Marquez or Jan Spell at 770-632-7010.
