Wilson Traditional
Homes starts new project in WhiteWater Creek
community Wilson Traditional Homes
Inc. is presenting the Statesboro, the latest in
its line of historical plans for finer
living.
Construction
is underway in WhiteWater Creek community, and
the first home in this series is nearing
completion.
The
base price of the Statesboro is in the high
$400's, and the overall design vernacular is
based on the historical style of architecture
found in coastal Savannah near the turn of the
century.
It
is a colonial architectural design dating the
home from the 1840 to 1910 period.
The
four-bedroom, four-and-a-half-bath home has 4,621
square feet on the first and second floors, and
approximately 980 square feet in the basement.
The master suite contains a sleeping area, study,
office, two oversized closets and large bathing
area complete with whirlpool, double shower with
double shower head and controls.
Some
of the other special features of the home include
a curved staircase against a historically correct
marble foyer floor. Granite counter tops grace
the large, spacious kitchen/breakfast area.
There
is ceramic tile in all baths, and hardwood floors
cover almost all of the first floor. Crown
molding is throughout the first floor, and other
specialty molding surrounds the first floor.
The
oversized upstairs bedrooms provide for lots of
growing room and for all of the new tech
toys available today.
In
the spirit of the open, airy coastal style of
architecture, the plan has a covered lanai
integrated into a cantilevered sun room. This
area is off the finished basement and leads to
the landscaped rear yard.
