Home tour to raise
funds for Olympic band trip A Christmas
tour of homes is planned for Saturday, December
11 between noon and 7 p.m. to raise funds for
Fayette County High School band students headed
for the 2000 Summer Olympics in Australia next
fall. The band is scheduled to play at the
opening ceremonies.
Seven
homes decked out for Christmas will be on the
tour. Band students will be playing holiday songs
at the various stops.
Advance
tickets are $12 and are tax deductible. Tickets
are available by phoning 770-719-2112, the
Fayette County High School Band room and at
Invitation Only, located across from the court
house on Glynn St. Tuesday through Saturday from
10 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Tickets
purchased on the day of the tour will be $15.
The
homes on tour include the model home for Jim
Dutton Homes, 170 Stanley Oaks Place, Stanley
Oaks Subdivision; the home of Peter and Yvonne
McCarron, 195 White Road, also in the Stanley
Oaks Subdivision; the home of John and Doe Evans,
360 Emerald Lake Drive in The Woodlands; the home
of Paul and Melody Ray, 545 Emerald Lake Drive,
also in The Woodlands; the home of Dr. Mike and
Mrs. Pat Strain, 190 Old Hwy 85; and the home of
Dick and Jane Carne, 170 Stablecreek Rd and the
home of Tammy Leslie, 125 St. Andrews Dr. at
Whitewater.
