FAIRBANCO gets in the holiday spirit

Fairburn Banking is helping others this holiday season by accepting donations or new toys that you would like to give to the less fortunate.

Drop off your donation at any FAIRBANCO location and bank officials will see it gets to those most in need.

The bank recently opened a Palmetto office and Terry Bright was appointed branch manager.

“We are delighted to have Terry Bright as our manager there. He has been with FAIRBANCO for two years and has 20 years banking experience,” said FAIRBANCO vice-president Nina Ray.

The Palmetto branch will serve one of the company's primary customer areas.

“Approximately 20 percent of our existing customer base is from the Palmetto area, and with the growth in this area, it's an excellent opportunity to gain new business,” said Bob Fuller, president and chairman of FAIRBANCO.

The bank is one of the largest locally owned banks on the southside and has offices in Fairburn, Union City, Peachtree City and Palmetto. The bank has been meeting customers' needs since 1891.

“Our rates and products will be competitive. We are doing a 16,000 piece mailing to Palmetto and the surrounding area to let the area residents know we are open,” said Bright.
