Word of Life Family Church to graduate 13 as ministry school holds its first commencement

Word of Life Family Church's School of Ministry will graduate 13 students during its first commencement exercises scheduled for Dec. 12.

Graduating will be Darla Buell, Christal Carey, Joe Coles, Mary Gluszek, Jeff Heard, John Hughes, Vicki Hughes, Bonnie Kennelly, Michelle Ledford, Lorna Nissen and Lisa Massey.

The school was founded in January of 1999 as part of a five-fold vision of the church. Among the goals of Word of Life and to equip people of all ages to do the work of the ministry and to be a platform for the training and launching of ministers.

The one-year program is divided into three three-month trimesters, with classes beginning in January, May and September.

Coursework the first year of the school included prayer, end-time events, principles of faith, righteousness, Christ the healer, gifts of the spirit, blood covenant, principles of abundance, principles of leadership, the life and ministry of Christ, new creation realities, the anointing, ministry of helps, the believer's authority, submission and authority, homiletics, Pauline epistles and ministerial excellence.

Classes are conducted Sundays from 6-9 p.m. and Tuesdays from 7-9 p.m.

Applications are now being taken for the next trimester which begins in January.
