briefs Curtis Beall, Jr. CLU of Tyrone was recently selected to attend the Northwestern Mutual Life Insurance Company Forum in Scottsdale, Ariz. Beall, an agent with Northwestern, was invited to the forum because of his outstanding sales achievements. Of the company's 7,500 agents, only 272 were eligible to attend the event. The forum is an education and development symposium that focuses on life insurance industry issues and ways to enhance productivity for top producing agents. Peachtree City's Crown Andersen Inc. announced that its Andersen 2000 subsidiary in Peachtree City was awarded a $360,000 contract from DeKalb Medical Center to supply the center with an incinerator air pollution control system. Andersen 200 is a supplier of engineered products and systems for environmental control and waste processing. Peachtree City's Hoshizaki America, Inc. held a groundbreaking for its new facility in Griffin last week. The new 37-acre facility will be used for future expansion of manufacturing and as a finished good warehousing facility. Hoshizaki is the world's largest manufacturer of commercial ice machines and refrigeration systems. Regions Bank recently announced the addition of Michelle Norman to its Peachtree City branch location. Norman is the on-site investment specialist for all of the abks branches in Peachtree City, Fayetteville and Newnan.
