Foxworthy at New Hope next week

Comedian Jeff Foxworthy will be the featured speaker at the fourth annual Wild Game Dinner Tuesday, Nov. 16, at 6 p.m. under the big tent at New Hope Baptist Church in Fayetteville.

“The Wild Game Dinner is a great opportunity for folks in our community to get together and enjoy an evening of great fun and great fellowship with other Christians,” said New Hope's Bill Bonner. “This year we're blessed to have someone of Jeff Foxworthy's talent and convictions come in and share with us and we're looking forward to a wonderful event.”

Foxworthy will appear with Tim Cash at the dinner, which will feature exotic game such as alligator, buffalo, elk, wild turkey and more. An outreach of the Integrity Men's Ministry of New Hope, the event is expected to draw more than 1,500 people from across Fayette County and the south metro Atlanta area.

A regular on such programs as “The Tonight Show” and “The Late Show with David Letterman,” Foxworthy also has two Showtime stand-up specials to his credit, one resulting in a Cable ACE award nomination. He received a People's Choice Award for “The Jeff Foxworthy Show” and has been named TNN's Comedian of the Year three years running.

The author of nine best-selling books, Foxworthy is now seeing his phenomenal first effort “You Might Be A Redneck If....” enter its 30th printing. His three comedy recordings have produced sales of more than eight million, making him the largest selling comedy recording artist in history.

In addition to his hectic work schedule, Foxworthy is very active with the Duke University Children's Hospital in Durham, N.C., which specializes in treating children with cancer. As the honorary chairman of the Duke Children's Hospital Classic golf tournament, he helped raise more than $900,000 last year.

An Atlanta native, he remains true to his Southern roots and resides with his wife and two daughters in north Atlanta.

Individual tickets for the Wild Game Dinner are $15 each and are available at Sonrise Christian Bookstore or the New Hope office. Table sponsorships are also welcomed and include reserved table seating and special recognition in the event program.
