Regarding your article about Fayette County observing Veterans Day on Nov. 11: I have seen, nor heard, nothing in any media, except The Citizen, that Monday, Nov. 8, will observed Veterans Day by anyone, much less the U. S. Federal Government.

The official holiday, observed by all U.S. Government offices is Nov. 11.

Always enjoy your paper and The Citizen usually does a fine job reporting the news, but you slipped up or didn't verify your sources on this one. We're all human....
