After meeting for its monthly work session last week, the Fayette County Commission is taking the rest of the month off, as far as meetings are concerned.

Commissioners normally conduct business meetings on second and fourth Thursdays. This Thursday's meeting falls on Veterans Day, and the usual Nov. 25 meeting falls on Thanksgiving.

The next commission meeting will be the monthly work session for December, Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 3:30 p.m. at the County Administrative Complex.
