New
Hadassah group will meet in PTC Nov. 9 Residents of Fayette, Coweta and South Fulton counties are invited to join the new South Atlanta Hadassah Group on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 7 p.m. at the Peachtree City Library for a program to learn about all the resources available in the Jewish community. Ilene Levin, of the Atlanta Jewish Federation's Shalom Atlanta program, will speak. There is no fee to attend, but reservations are requested. Refreshments will be served. Greater Atlanta Hadassah's new south Atlanta group includes Peachtree City, Newnan, Fayetteville and South Atlanta. The group is targeting all ages in the geographical area at this time. Greater Atlanta Hadassah's programs include health education, community volunteer projects, social action and advocacy, Jewish education and research, and partnerships with Israel. The chapter has existed for over 80 years and is comprised of 2,700 members serviced by seven active groups. The Peachtree City Library is located near the municipal complex on Ga.
